Matthew Arin Adams is an Afizere (Jarawa) of Fobur District descent, born in 1950 in Gwisti, Shere District of Jos East Local Government Area. He attended Shere, Fobur and Jarawa Kogi Primary Schools from 1959 – 1966; and obtained his Grade II Teachers’ Training Certificate in Bauchi from 1967 – 1971. After his teaching career from 1971-1976. He proceeded to the Seminary where he obtained an exceptional Higher Diploma in Theology at TCNN, Bukuru from 1976 – 1980. He studied Missiology at the Master’s level with the prestigious Evangel Theological Seminary (2000/01) His working career includes; Pastoring COCIN Jos Jarawa 1980 -1982; COCIN Headquarters as Assistant General Secretary 1982 – 1985; Co-ordinator, Hausa Literature Committee 1985 -1990; First Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council (present Jos South/East Federal Constitutency). He had traveled almost all over Nigeria, Rome, Israel Egypt, Niger Republic, Cameroon and Chad Republic visiting and evangelizing. He is married to Rifkatu with six children; namely Patrica I. Ziyok; Mercy R. Sambo, Joel, Steven, Dinah Arinze and Lois Pam. He has been the overseer of this independent, evangelistic, prayer and music ministry: Boiling Point Gospel Centre.
